Welcome To Samuel's Smile
Samuel’s Smile is a charity for children who are diagnosed with rare diseases. We have now been running for seven years and we have managed to provide SMILES for over 85 families across the United Kingdom.
I was born with a very rare condition called Total Intestinal Hirschsprung’s Disease. I was only given 3 months to live when I was born and I am now 23 making me the oldest living survivor in the UK with this disease.
Because of my disease, I live on an IV pump 12 hours a day 7 days a week which gives me my total parenteral nutrition because I have never been able to eat. I have had over 80 procedures throughout my life however, always remain smiling.
